Millicent Sword First Class B.Sc. (Hons) EMA (dist)Horses have always been a massive part of my life, and my First class degree in Equine Therapy and Rehabilitation has enabled me to have a wide breadth of knowledge in all aspects of the horse. This allows me to be scientific and well informed when massaging and offering exercise prescriptions.
My dissertation involved the Photizo device (LED infrared and red light) and found that application of the Photizo increased hip and hock range of motion as well as increasing retraction of the fore and hind limb, all of which are very beneficial to the horses movement and performance. I hold a Distinction in Equine massage, which involved 14 months of assignments and case studies, with a final exam in practical and theoretical aspects. I have worked with a variety of horses from happy hackers to racehorses so I am able to tailor the massage to suit your horses needs. |
